Matt Moore-Montelongo (Matt Moore is easier to say) is an actor, comedian, and writer living in Los Angeles.
He has appeared on HBO’s Funny Or Die Presents, CONAN, NBC’s Sean Saves The World, and numerous television commercials usually playing an ordinary guy in extraordinary circumstances.
With his ability to imitate nearly any accent and a highly physical performing style, Moore is known for his strong character work. His dizzying array of foppish foreigners, charming gangsters, and pathetic dads have made him a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater, the iO West, Pack, Hollywood Improv, and countless other venues that let him do a silly accent. He has been featured in Austin’s Out of Bounds comedy festival and the world famous San Francisco Sketch Fest.
As a lyricist Matt is half of Matt & Allegra, a song writing duo who’s parody videos about LA-based shopping malls have gained a cult following and have been featured on Curbed LA and LAist.
In addition to performing, Moore is the co-author of Adult Stuff: Things You Need to Know to Win at Life, a humorous self-help guide for Millennials. Published by Sourcebooks, Adult Stuff is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and bookstores nationwide.
Matt is a former track star, drummer, and farm boy from Aurora, Nebraska. He escaped the Midwest with a BFA in acting from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
